I'd want to know if its possible to merge 2 PSN accounts.

I bought a PS3 a few years ago and made a PSN back then.

When the PSV got released, I bought that one and (you may guess) I made another one...

Some games like LBP have tha advantage of sharing costumes, wich i'd like to be able. Or at least just having the same trophies and friendslist is what i'm after. Any info regarding the accounts, i can give. Ofcourse not in this topic. But since I'm new at the forum, i dont know yet were to contact tech support, i even had to look where the forum was...

It's something that physically can't be done as the database of IDs would turn into soup.

It's not designed to allow merging accounts, and with potentially thousands of transactions on two different IDs with different names/details it would spell disaster for lost details, items and purchases.
That and digital content is tied to a single user who's supposed to only have one account.

There's multiple reasons why it can't and won't happen, but I'd say you should cut your losses now and pick your preferred ID. It's easier for you to "break your policy" than it is for Sony to "break" theirs and rebuild the whole PSN :P

What about an account that was made on ps3 with an account made for ps4? I ask not because I'm looking to merge the stored in-game data from the ps3 account to the ps4. I am asking because I paid for several games on the ps3 account & I'd like to be able to play them on the ps4. So is that possible?

A PSN Account works on all Platforms, you don't need to create a new one for a different Platform..

PS3 games will not work on the PS4...   they are not compatible.

You can either play them on the PS3  or Subscribe to PS Now if it's available in your Country, but that would mean purchasing them again, even if they are available on that Service.

Account Data is tied to the Account that it was created on..   You cannot merge data!!

It's the same account, so you aren't merging anything.

The account you created can be used on different PlayStation devices and services: PS3,PS4,PS Vita, PS Now.

There were a small handful of games when the PS4 launched that allowed owners of the PS3 versions to upgrade, but that ended a very long time ago, and as I said before, there were very few.

Unless those games are listed in the store as "Cross Buy" then no, you'd have to purchase the PS4 versions like everyone else has.
