postal code is not valid

I am currently trying to join the play station network and it is saying my postal code is not valid i have tried some from neighboring towns but it won't work. Does anyone have the same issue

Presumably it's a different account.

The one you're using now is US, what country is the one you're trying to create?

 I thought you guys had zip codes. 

I'm afraid I don't know much about US zip codes, this is the UK/EU forum, you might get a bit more localised assistance on the NA forum at https://community.playstation.com

Don't you use a 5 figure number as a zip Code??

I have a US Account and that has a 5 figure number as the Zip Code.  

And PSN recognizes that as the Postal Code.

tuve el mismo problema. La solucion es ponerle un ziocode de Estados Unidos que no empieze con 0. En mi caso use el 

33025 que es de Florida y me funciono. Espero haberte ayudado.

The postal code should be linked to the region of your account. For UK it should be something like AB1 2CD, for US 12345. Make sure the country is selected correctly.

Also, try creating it both from the console and the website
