Playstation Now not working - stuck on "Preparing your game"

Some games are stuck on "Preparing your game" and some others just say that I can't play the game now.

SONY, please fix ASAP!

This is very frustrating . . . I am paying for this service and it seems to frequently fail for days at a time.

I see from other threads that the issue is on your end and you have to clear the session . . . so please do it ASAP!

Still not working! . . . please fix ASAP or provide FULL refund.  I am paying for a service that you are not providing.  Instead of playing games I am getting very frustrated with an unreliable service that repeatedly fails.

Which country are you in, and did you set this up with an account that is actually your own country?

What is the problem have not had PlayStation 4 that long if this is a frequent thing I will move back to x box seems to be better never recall having this much lost play time in all the years of owning my x box !,,,,,,,

Login/Logout might work,the "internal" session could be expired

Have just set up the PS4 for sons birthday tomorrow 14/10 and signed up for PS now. What ever game I try to load it never get past preparing. Any ideas how to fix it for tomorrow?

Stuck on 'Preparing your game' for about a day now.

I have been stuck on preparing your game for the last few days. I am currently living in South Korea but am from the UK and my playstaion was purchased there. I signed up for the PS Now trial whilst in Korea and was able to play during the trial but since the trial ended I haven't been to load up any games.

If it is the case that I am not able to play because of my location then I would like a full refund, not sure how this could be the case as I was able to play during the trial.

Having a similar problem, just got ps now in Ireland and oblivion isn't working for some reason.

I'm having the same issue here and it's pretty upsetting! 
Every game I try, a message pops up saying: 
"%1 isn't launching for some reason. Please try again", then the screen freezes and I've to restart the system.

I'm having the same issue. I have connected the lan line, and have tried all the tricks but can't get passed the "preparing your game" screen for 2 days.

Same issue on my account.

Spoke to customer support a couple times now. One of the folks said to come here, someone might have a solution. Still looking for a solution. I am waiting for a direct connection to the game server the tech I spoke to on the phone earlier said he was sending, nothing yet.....

The free trial worked ...... so I bought it and it went down several days ago , I only had the purchased version for gosh a day or two if that.

Anyone find a solution ?

Put your PS4 into your routers DMZ or open the ports PSN uses in the article pasted below.

Try opening the following ports on your router, then let us know if it solved the problem.

TCP: 80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480
UDP: 3478, 3479

Hello there,

Thank you for the reply and link to the instructions, which I followed. The instructions gave me the following errors:

CE-38703-1 - https://www.playstation.com/en-nz/get-help/help-library/error-codes/ce-38703-1/ Followed directions

CE-32952-1  had no clue what to do with this error code ?

Playstation Now in the ps4 pro said it could not download playstation now, with options to read the error codes above, or delete. I deleted. I know longer have the playstation now in my account.

Back to the computer - logged into playstation now - "Preparing your game" and "closing the last game" or something rather.

I got discussed and removed the playstation now  ...... I may try again ??

We think it is interesting this is ONLY happening in my account, no one elses on the same ps4 pro .

Just bought. The system ps4 is pretty cool.. I loved the ps2 when it was out. Played all the time. Didnt like ps3 to much so i switch to xbox 1.. With this new ps4 its has a setback or downfall which im not happy with.. I dont like to spend my money on stuff that doesnt work. So why is my Ps4 Now subscribtion now working? Its stuck on "preparing the game"... Come on man.. Really.. No one should be having this problem. Big company like yall.. Why even have ps4 now if its not up and running RIGHT.. Its a lie and a tease.... Come on sony ps4.. Do something or yall gonna get some baf reviews and xbox is gonna start looking good again...
