Hi guys, I'm living in Brisbane, Australia, and I just can't find a way to download the PS Now app on my ps4, either subscribe on the website, everytime I try via desktop it says "unable to find the page" I have two accounts, a Brazilian one and an Australian!
Can anyone help me with any information?
I'm guessing because it isn't available in Australia or Brazil yet might have something to do with it.
G'day! I'm in Bundaberg and yeah. I feel ya! I've downloaded the 'Playstation Now' through Windows. The Country/Region was on United States so I switched it to Australia. So I got it but it's "not available." I was gonna spend some money but I didn't see anywhere about country privileges.
Brisbane here too
Only way for us is to make a US or UK account, and subscribe though that, purchasing codes online for whichever region you choose. But even that might not work as being a subsription it might require a credit card which will have to be from the same country. I haven't actually tried yet, but if we don't hear about it coming here soon I'm going to look into it more. Already have a US account
Might let you subscribe using a US or UK account on PC though without c/c?
Microsoft in this case delivers the streaming of games which is why we now only purchase xBox games, playing on the laptop is just what we wanted, Sony has failed us in Australia.
Do the research folks; even if you have an active account from another region (US or UK for instance) one still needs to provide the details of a credit card from either region as well.... I started the process before realising the waters I was walking into were very murky, unless one genuinely has one - I don't. Secondly, I disagree with the statement that Sony has done something dodgy - imo, it would likely be a combination of licensing and infrastructure. I don't pretend I know where the licensing is acquired, as to whether that is a minor or major link in the chain. But, the more I've seen of YouTube footage of folks playing on PS Now/Vue it can be demanding on the users connection.... Thanks to the utter cluster ***** that is our array of interweb arrangements across the country, it's so hit n' miss as to who would be able to run either service, smoothly - therefore is it WORTH Sony investing in the data centre's nationwide as they have in the regions mentioned.... Sadly, probably not.
I don't pretend I know the numbers of active users across the country either, but basic common sense and our known expenses tells me this..
I'm so freaking mad that we don't have PS NOW.
Well what can you do that's Playstation for ya
