PS Now Idle time is ridiculously short

The time it takes before you get kicked for inactivity is just ridiculous. It is not always possible the save whereever or whenever you like. In fact, most games have specific save points. So why is the inactivity time so short? It is that bad that answering nature's call becomes a gamble that you are likely to lose if you are not able to save the game prior. There goes the last half hour or more of gameplay. While half an hour may not seem like a lot, it soon adds up and for people that have jobs and other things going on besides the game, redoing what you've already done is #%$!@$% annoying. Sort it out Sony. Anyone would think PS Now was a free service.

Just one question, can't you pause the game if you need to go to the dunny ??

I would of thought so the touch pad doubles up for the select and start button like it does sith PS2 remasters for the PS4 version of PlayStation Now,right click for start and left click for select.

It's the first topic I have ever seen that PS Now can actually time out.

If you leave the controller without pressing a button for about 10 mins, paused or not, it kicks you out of the game.

I have never heard of PSNow timing out before.

Are you sure the controllers are not turning off due to power save enabled in system power saving settings?

No. I mean the game shuts down after 10 minutes of inactivity. The controller and system inactivity tiners are set to 4 bours and never. PS Now closes the game then shows a screen stating as such and two buttons, one saying close PS Now and the other saying restart the game. PS Now has a splash screen while loading a game saying about "staying in the game" and inactivity timers

This is the WORST!!!  PS Now keeps signing me out after 15min and I have to redo everything.  There should be a settings option that enables you to extend the inactivity time.  I’ve searched and haven’t been able to find one.  Does anyone know if there’s a work around

This is by far THE worst feature in ps now. After a short idle time psnow does not try to save any progress it just cut the game off. Xbox saves your game so when u log back in your at the same spot. ***** PlayStation I will be most likely cancelling my subscription too because 80 of the games don't save automatically and there are no ways to stop or extend the inactive timer. I also don't like that I can not he in a party while playing games.
