Playstation automaticly bought a whole year subscribsion on playstation plus, why? and is it possible to cancel it?

Automatic renewal is on by default when you sign up for the service it clearly states this in the product description on the PlayStation store.

It is up to the customer to cancel auto renewal via account management.

 

How to cancel a subscription

PlayStation Plus

  1. Go to [PlayStation Plus Hub] on your PS4 home screen.
  2. Go to [Manage Membership] > [Subscription] > [Cancel Automatic Renewal] and press (X button).
  3. You can ‘Restart Automatic Renewal’ before the expiry date of the current subscription period if you change your mind using the same method.

If you had read the T&C's of the Subscription then you would know why...

 

There is an Automatic Billing request and this is turned ON as default, it's upon the User to turn this OFF if they do not require the Automatic Billing.

 

It's also a Rolling Subscription and then again - it's in the T&C's...

You cannot get a Refund for a Rolling Subscription.

Kdyz partner (Rus) cca před rokem koupil synovi PS4 a k tomu playstation plus na rok tak nevim jak to udělal, ale kdyz syn klikne na ten žlutý křížek tak se najednou objeví všechno v ruštině a všude jsou nabídky playstation plus za ruble. Nicméně dneska jsem synovi koupila v Alza. CZ playstation plus na 3 měsíce a chtěla zadat do kolonky na 3 měsíce kód, jenže to nejde. Cele odpoledne zkoušeli v alze jestli náhodou kód není špatný, ale s kódem je všechno v pořádku. Jak mam ten žlutý křížek vymazat, abych to tam mohla dostat v češtině ? A nebo jak to mam udělat , aby mohl syn hrát on-line

 Morning I have got a question if anyone could help I have top up my wallet £10 now I am trying to get a 1 month £5.99 pass but each time I click on subscribe it say this 

can anyone help me I have checked my transaction history and it says completed and money has been loaded On to my wallet already.

Do you have a Funding Source attached to your PSN Account??

Credit/Debit Card or PayPal.

 

1 Month Subscriptions require a Funding Source.

3 Month and Yearly do not need this.

No I don't I took it off as it was a old card ? 

If I put a new debit card on here will the 1 month work then ? My wallet says £9.56 avalible

The Wallet just needs a Funding Source and it should be A Oki 

 

 

1 Month is turned into a Rolling Subscription - that is why you need a funding source, so Sony can take money to renew the Subscription.

 

Add the New Card, then log out of the Account - this refreshes the details of the Account when you sign back in.  If you don't - the changes might not appear and you will still be in the same pickle.

Hi last night i made a payment for 12 months PlayStation plus membership. The payment has been taken twice.. i need one of them refunded back to my credit card... how do i get a refund?
