since yesterday I haven’t been able to purchase anything from the PlayStation store or add funds to my wallet. I keep getting the same error message as per subject name above or a blue loading screen that continuously loads.
I'm having the same problem. I try to buy something from the PlayStation store, it asks me to sign in, and when I do it just says connection to server has timed out, but it doesn't spend any time trying to load or process the payment, it just instantly times out
I'm getting the same error message "The connection to the server timed out." but in the PS VUE app on the ipad. After I hit enter after inputting my password, it seems to time out instantly (less than 3 seconds). I tried rebooting, uninstalling and re-installing the app, but still no go. I verified my password is correct by logging in to the Playstation Network, and I of course confirmed connectivity is good, but I still get this stupid timeout message.
Similar issue I've got the PlayStation app on my iPad, and it keeps getting me to log in.. so when I type in my log in details, there is a connection time out issue. Is it something I'm doing wrong? Cheers
I'm having the same issue as of a couple of days ago (17/01/2019). I try to log in to my PSN account on the PS App and the PS Messages App and it just says 'The Connection To The Server Timed Out'.
Anyone managed to resolve it?
Change from Wi-Fi to mobile data and try again.
Also you can clear the cache and cookies for the App from your Settings app management.@seally13
