I have some funds in my wallet - but the psn won't just use them up
I don't get it.
What do you mean, you can't spend it?
Could be multiple reasons based on your post.
- Digital product you're attempting to purchase costs more than the available balance in your account
- You have no subscription payments due
- You're getting an error at checkout when attempting to pay for something
etc. More information needed.
i have the same problem and have enough funds available. I cant spend money from my wallet it keeps asking me to choose from credit card or paypal
Are you from the States?? you guys add Tax.... whatever you are trying to buy, could be more after Tax has been added than your current balance, therefore Sony are asking to draw the extra funds from CC/PayPal.
That could be it I suppose but i have more than enough money in my account.
Thanks anyway I will add more money and try again :)
Wants to use credit cards when i have sufficient amount of money from psn card
Just add funds to my psn wallet and I can't use it keep sending me to payment options. Can someone help please.
Did you ever figure this issue out? I’m currently having the same problem and need some help.@stonecoldlance
I think I've figured the reason out. In my case, I'm pretty sure I can't use wallet money to buy games that are rated 18+ (the exact name of that category might differ based on the store region), so I ended up with around $55 in wallet funds and unable to buy most of the big-name games.@Tyler_Stewart8
But for mine i have enough funds in my wallet to purchase say a 1 month ps plus..but when i try to purchase it, it says that i need to put a paypal or credit card on it??@amkhasawneh
its odd on my end. i know i don't have enough money on my end yet it says from wallet and its either saying i have less than what the account says or the difference is larger than is seems
my wallets more than 2.41 and $5 so its not the difference.
idk whats up with it
One would assume if it says your wallet balance is $2.41 then your wallet balance is $2.41.
Also because $10 is the minimum funding amount then you will need $10 in your bank, which will leave you with $5.00 in your wallet@MagiaErebia
i get that but when i go to payment settings it says differently. it confuses me that it says i have more than i actually do@gavsta72
Total price is the price of the product
From wallet is how much it will take from your wallet, which means you need to pay $5.00 (which will be 10 because of minimum amount)@MagiaErebia
but wouldnt it take all the money i have? or does it just take enough till it gets to the minimum multiple of 5 (5,10,15)@gavsta72
It will take the 2.41 from your wallet and the minimum funding amount from your payment source, whatever that is in your country.
Example: I'm in Australia and the minimum funding amount here is $10. So in my case it would take the 2.41 from my wallet, and take 10 from my bank (too make up the needed $5)
I would then have a new wallet balance of $5 which is what's left after the $10 being funded
i only use the wallet so i guess i'll need to get a new card to add funds.
huh, i havent bought anything in a while so this must be something new added to the store. because there wasnt anything (the minimum funding) like this last time i bought something, that and the tax.
You're obviously in the US where allot of states pay tax, and just recently more states have added a tax also@MagiaErebia
yep. itunes did it a while ago so im not surprised psn is following. the minimum funding is waht caught mme off guard
