Free Games on the PSN Store [ Edited ]

Below is a near complete list of all of the free games you can find on the PSN store! I've also listed some of the DLC highlights (there are sadly too many for me to list in one thread), and current the PS Plus monthly games collection.

Please let us know in the comments below if we've missed anything, and we'll update the thread.

Notes:

Black Tiger is the free game that comes with Capcom Arcade Cabinet, and the others are available in packs or individually.

Nice list! (I don't remember Pinballistic becoming free to Plus subscribers, but then I already owned it so maybe wasn't paying too much attention.)

But I'm not sure of some of them really offer a free experience beyond that of a Trial Version. I'm suspicious that the following are merely trial versions (and if you included all the trial versions and demos of games, your list would be much, much bigger :)):

Worms Crazy Golf, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars, Watchmen (I think that's a trial only).

Anyone looking for some free pinball, Zen Pinball 2 (on the list for PS4) allows you to play the Sorcerer's Lair table for free (and on PS3 and Vita as well, I think). Pinball Arcade lets you play Tales of the Arabian Nights for free.

And for Capcom's Arcade Cabinet, I think Black Tiger is the only free game.

I think Jetpack Joyride is still free on Vita. :)

I've added a 'notes' section at the bottom of the thread for anything about trials. Also, Jetpack Joyride is showing up as £1.69 for me, on PS3 and on Vita.

Oh, OK, must just be on my account because I already own it.

Way back when (three years now!), when I used to maintain a list of demos and trial versions on the Store, there were *a lot* of trials. :) I stopped when the Store was updated and made it easier to look up demos and trials.

I think the best thing is to not list the DEMO / TRIALS.
As i dont think there much point as some people arnt intersted in demos... Unless they unlock something in a full game...
And just do all FREE 2 PLAY Games. Plus any free add ons that go with those F2P games.
And recheck any that have changed prices as there are afew that now have prices...?

ironically, this game freezes when start to load in my ps3.. any advise?

Uh, no idea, but you could try deleting the game and reinstalling it from the store. If that doesn't work, try the 'HELP' section of the forum.

Slightly interested in Green Lantern (PS3) as it's free but on the store it's only 100KB in size. I downloaded and installed but it only shows up in my game data utility. Is it an add on?

That is additional content for dc online (which is free to play)

The add on for green lantern is NOT FOR DC UNIVERSE ONLINE...

It is for a ps3 green lantern rise of the manhunters movie game tie in...

@Cjarsa OK, will do... I'm not sure what the position is on demos (I recall once upon a time hearing that almost all games on PS4 woud come with demos...) but if it's a yay, the new Uncharted collection demo on PS4 is worth a mention.

It's something that people should know about, but there are too many demos and trials on the store for me to include in the list and the list would require constant updating. If someone would enjoy doing that, they can be my guest :D
