Ive seen people with similar problems, but none quite the same. I have a PS4 Pro, just over a year ago I bought a PSVR (I didnt use it much because of this problem).
Sometimes the output will go completely blank to the headset and the TV, and wont come back on. The only way I can get it to work is to switch everything off and disconnevt the VR. Then connect it back up subsequently. It does this about once every few hours, sometimes straight away when Im playing or sometimes after a while. But once every couple of hours seems to be the average.
Also when I am using the PS4 Pro (with the VR connected) either to watch Bluerays or to play games, I get the same issue after a couple of hours. I have to disconnet the HDMI from the VR box and put it directly into the PS4 Pro in order to solve the problem.
Any help/advice would be warmly appreciated.
It might be the problem with the handshake between the TV and the PS Change the HDMI see if it works.
I still get the same result with a different hdmi cable unfortunatly.@Phteve-the-Rock
Do you have the whole set up plugged into an extension lead or a wall socket?@brocarl
The power? Its all in extension leads.@Phteve-the-Rock
Can you try to put it in a wall socket? Slim chance but it might not get enough juice from the extension lead.@brocarl
Made no difference. Thx though@Phteve-the-Rock
Does it do the same if you have the PS only connected to the TV? No VR.@brocarl
Still thinking it's the hdmi. Makes no sense not to work with the VR connected .
Ive tried thd hdmi that it came with and a different one. It doesnt seem to make a difference.
