PSVR works great, I have all the cords setup correctly (checked 4 times), however the graphics controller is not sending a signal to the TV so I can view what's going inside the PSVR visor simultaneously.
Any suggestions?
GUYS I FOUND A SOLUTION
Disable HDCP in settings>system!
It fixed my problem
What fixed for me was to invert the HDMI cables. The one that comes with VR i used to connect the unit processor with the TV and them it worked.
For me disabling the HDCP did not work.
Switch off the sync on the tv menu and it will work find. Settings/external input/Bravia sync
I had a similar problem.
I found out that my cinema receiver (RX-A2040, top Yamaha only 2 years old) doesn't manage well at all the PSVR signal (to TV).
Looking forward to find a solution.
Until then, I have to go directly from PSVR to TV.
hoping this might help some of you, and perhaps resolve together this frustrating 2018 problem (the sound is so much better threw the receiver and full speakers)
PSVR WORKING FINE!
I also have no picture through to so I bought another 4K TV then I bought a PS4 pro to try that, still nothing changed all the settings still nothing, I believe my problem is a faulty hdmi splitter in the PU!!!
PULLING MY HAIR OUT WITH SONY HERE!!! IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIX THIS PROBLEM ON & OFF FOR 4 DAYS NOW!!!! Arghus!
did you make sure the usb wire from the box to the ps4 was any good? I got quite a few crappy ones check that then make sure when you change channel on TV that it's not connecting to the tv instead of the ps4 I have to click no every time it asks, also you could always buy a splitter and just split the signal from the ps4
I mean the info wire from the ps4 to the front usb of the ps4.... nothing to do with hdmi.... and again why not just use hdmi splitter from the ps4 and send one line to tv and other to vr box..... easy fix
Our older Sony Bravia died so we just bought the Sony X930E and the VR on the tv is not working??
SONY HELP!!
Check and make sure all cords are all the way in. I had this issue , and when I checked the wires ,the one in the TV was loose .I pushed it the rest of the way in ,and within seconds ,the picturepicture showed up on the TV . And I don't have a PS pro ,of someone tells you that's what it is ,sont believe it.
I have the same issue. I'm viewing on an LG UHD 4K TV, only a year old, a PS4 PRO, new last week, and just to be sure, I just replaced EVERYTHING that has to do with the VR. STILL GETTING AN INVALID SIGNAL. So I plugged it into an older(but not too old) Sony non UHD 4K TV, and it works fine. I bypassed the VR control box and it works fine on both TV`S. So it's not the cables and it's not the box. I did an online chat with an LG agent and was told the signal is not compatible. So what do we ( All of us who are having this issue) do?
I have a brand new PS4 Pro (picked up over the weekend), a new PSVR with the HDR pass through (cuh-zvr2) hooked up to a 4k LG 55UF950V. Same issue, to play a none VR game I have to start up the PS4 Pro, no signal on the TV, plug in the PSVR and power it on. The TV then gets a signal, I then power down the PSVR and all works. I'm using all the Sony leads, bypassing the PSVR control box works. Tested with an original PS4 and observed the exact same behaviour. Tried multiple leads (HDMI Premium Certified) and HDMI inputs on the TV. PS4s and PSVR running latest updates. Really frustrating. Come on Sony sort this out!
I got my psvr 4 months ago (Christmas) I started getting an issue with the tv signal around the end of Jan, it flickers or has red lines through it when i turn hdcu off. New LG tv and it says invalid input. Sony sent me a DPD label to send it back today, they say it may take 15 working days (3 weeks!).
Leave it to Sony. Somehow they managed to turn an HDMI cable into an old fashioned “patch cable.”
It actually matters which end of the cable goes into the PS4 and which one goes into the processor. For some reason.
I have a PS4 Pro, the second gen PSVR, and an LG Oled
What finally solved this for me was the settings of VIDEO OUT DATA which was set to 1080p on my PS4 Pro, changed it to 1080i - and voila - all is well and working fine on both VR headset and screen.
Worth a try if someone still has the same problems.
This may seem kinda obvious, but I was having the same problem, my new vr VR headset wouldn't connect to the HDMI. So I got the idea to switch the two HDMI in the processor and it came on.
