PSVR works great, I have all the cords setup correctly (checked 4 times), however the graphics controller is not sending a signal to the TV so I can view what's going inside the PSVR visor simultaneously.
Mines the same.
Worked fine for a few days, then started crashing and freezing my PS4.
Disconnected the VR unit and now my PS4 won't even boot up properly.
I solved my problem.
I restored the playstation to factory mode, switched the anti-piracy option (DHCP) and placed the original HDMI cable that came with the playstation.
Many thanks to all who helped me.
I did the test .... you have to disable the DHCP function
I've tried everything possible, turn of HDCP,bought 2 high speed hdmi cables, tested on different tv's, updated software, shortened cables to the headset checked all ports are clean and clear, and still nothing, when I fist plugged the vr in it worked fine then when I went Back to it the next day ,nothing, I manage to see everything though the headset up untill I start any game, I get no signal on the tv and a white box with x hdmi on the headset, any1 sound a solution? It's an xmas present and trying it so it works for xmas, and sowhere has any so the likelihood of me getting a replacement in time is very unlikely!
The only thing that seemed to work for me was pressing the power button on the VR then turning it back on. Then it would show the images on the tv as well.
I am having the same problem. I tried to reconnect all the cables and nothing. I have tried changing t.v. Resetting PS. When I turn on the Vr glasses and the ps4 shows a image of a tv and a arrow pointing at the tv and a X. Under it it says HDMI
I have ps4 pro and psvr and it will not initialize I just get spinning circles in headset and nongoing on tv after spending a grand this holiday season on playstation stuff I'm pretty ***** I cant use any of it. you developers need to figure this out asap or refund all my money
It blocks the signal to the tv from the breakout box for whatever reason. This does, however, disable the use of PS Vue and other streaming services (its meant to block recording programs). Id only turn it off if youre gonna be playing with others or dont use Vue/Netflix/etc. Hope this helps you all
All cables connected, re-checked but I just keep getting message 'device is not connected' all I can view through headset is a blurry HDMI1. Can anyone help?
If it is of any help, I have had the same issue with not been able to display on Samsung TV as well as PS VR. I fixed the problem by changing hdmi cable from VR processor to TV with a newer hdmi cable.
I get the same issue. I can't see what's going on when it's in a VR game.
Non VR stuff I can see ?
Please, any assistance would be appreciated.
I have had the same problem for about 3 months. Samsung TV , TV software up to date . Get the same issue, visual and sound in the visor , but nothing coming up on the TV.
I've tried swapping the HDMI leads , that isn't the problem, but i also spent about £20 on HDMI 2.0 and standard HDMI leads before i got to the bottom of that. It's not the HDMI port on the TV either, i have 4 and the PS4 signal comes through fine on all , but once i plug the PSVR in the TV visual disappears.
I tried going through the fix and replace section on the website having read all of the forum comments, but there is literally not even an attempt by Sony to resolve this . just directed back to the forum . SONY PLEASE HELP
Try to unplug your TV's power cord and reconnect, seems like the HDMI port need to be reset. Hope this help.
Mine is not working either...everything is set up correctly...changed the chords...just a blank tv...any settings we should be aware of???
Ive tried changing cords, turning HDCP off, reconnecting..everything! This is *****!!! So friggin angry!!!
Turn off HDCP.
You'll see both VR headset and TV
Did someone found problem? I turn off HDCP still nothing, checked all cables all looks good any ideas?
use only the hdmi cables supplied with ps4 and ps vr this should work
I had the same problem,
if you cant see your psvr on tv only on the vr itself;
1) Go to settings from your ps4.
2) Click on system.
3) Click on enable HDCP ( the check mark should disappear) .
Then it should work.
