Now and again I have been unable to get a picture on my HDMI Monitor or my PSVR.
It doesn't happen all the time. But mostly when it does happen it seems to be after my PS4 has put itself into Sleep mode and I have pressed the PS button to boot my PS4 back up again. The headset at these times has been switched off. Looking at the PSVR's black box it has a white blinking light.
Sometimes pulling the power cable out of the black box, waiting a minute or so fixes this; at other times it doesn't.
Just now for instance, after putting the power plug back in to the black box, I still had a blank monitor screen.
So I tried again, except that instead I merely switched off at the wall plug. Again I just get a flashing white light and no picture. However, as I am aware that the white flashing light means the PSVR system is still booting, I decided waited for a while longer.
It was then that I discovered that all I had to do was wait up to, say, five minutes watching this white blinking light for the device to suddenly spring to life and I get the picture I need on my monitor again.
So I have to conclude that the PSVR isn't broken. Instead, every now and then, the PSVR's black box appears to need a lot longer to start up than my PS4.
Ok, so another reason not to bother using rest mode.
Mine does it automatically if I need to pop out for any reason.@Oran_Gina
