Playstation VR settings are missing from menu

I went to adjust the eye distance under the device menu and there was no category for psvr. It seems to have been deleted. I tried to look at system software update and it is up to date. I restarted ps4, I logged in as a different user. Nothing worked. Any ideas what happened?

Ok so I feel bad now. I figured out the issue. It arises from multiple people using the device. The external box needs to be plugged in the usb port for the the psvr to show up in the settings menu. One of the other people using the console had unplugged the usb from the Ps4. Hope this helps someone else.
