Hi guys, my Psvr has been working perfectly since I got it back in 2016 but yesterday when I powered it on I get a black screen with spinning dots like it’s trying to load, the image is fine on the tv but not on the headset. I’ve check all the cables , everything seems fine . Also when I boot up a vr game I can finally see the image on the headset but no s Sound . Any ideas? This only happens when I initially boot up the PS4 menu screen.
I have the same issue. I have tried removing hcdp, I have tried changing the screen output. Nothing works unless I disconnect vr then the ps4 works perfectly
I have had similar experiences. I was trying to get skyrim VR to play on my headset after going through the set-up and options fresh after a move. Just an unending screen of the white loading indicating dots. I updated the software immediately before wasting an hour on this frustrating mess.
Hi, thanks for your response. Unfortunately both my ps4 and psvr software are bang up to date.
yep, I have the same problem. I have tried calling playstation support 3 times but they've only told me they would send a link to a trouble shooting page. If that didnt work I had to contact them again. I haven't received any links as of now.
Make sure you gave them the correct contact email address and check as well your Spam/Junk folders.
Sometimes they go there.@Mr_GamezZZ
unfortunatly I am sure they have the correct email as I have verrified it multiple times the 3rd time I called. It sounded like they even had my account details in front of them. I've also checked my spam, social, main and promotions folders. I haven't gotten a response :(@Phteve-the-Rock
Most likely the steps were this ones.
Thanks for the help fortunatly I have gotten it to work :)@Phteve-the-Rock
I have spoken a couple of times and the upshot seems to be my ps4.
I have to send it to Sony for a check up.
I've gotten my psVR to work. so appearantly it DOES matter what HDMI cable is between the ps4 and the controller. I thought HDMI was a rigourus standard wich enshured compatibilaty.
Apearantly not. Try using the cable you've received with your psvr between your ps4 and controller box.
