Just thinking the same thing so does anyone know , also I presume it will take mini sd cards to add memory so what is the largest card memory wise that it will support, one more thing I heard it will support both downloaded media and also media will be coming in a cartridge form ? So has anyone got a picture of the cartage media ?

Sony said it will be a proprietary storage media so not standard Micro SD cards. This will be for two reasons most likely, 1) to make money from proprietary storage and 2) to ensure certain standards are met for the media so that people don't buy a cheap card which is slow adn then blame Sony for the poor experience.

Also ALL games will be available on the store while some will ALSO get a cartridge release. From the few images we've seen the cartridges look like SD cards but again they will be proprietary ones to try and reduce piracy.

As far as we are aware there is NO built in storage but we don't know if a 2 or 4gb card will come with the Vita when you buy it. It would seem silly to ship it with no card at all as people wouldn't be able to try out the store.

I've very excited about the Vita launch, hopefully we'll hear lots of new info at gamescom in August.

Slots/Ports:
- PlayStation®Vita card slot
- Memory card slot
- SIM card slot (3G/Wireless model only)
- Accessory port

A few things that I would like to know.

If I buy the model with out 3G connectivity will it still have a sim card port so I can get a sim card at later date.

What memory card will it use, SD, MMC, PRODuo or a new type that is not available yet.

What accessory's will it have for this accessory port.

How much memory will the PSVita have, I am not asking about internal storage but system memory, (PSP had 32MB) my best guess would be at least 512MB as any less would be pointless with a quad core CPU

After watching the embedded official E3 trailer, for some reason I think it looks fake. Reason being is because I saw MNR as one of the games shown. We all know that MNR is out of fashion right? Why would UFG spend a lot of money to get a game that no one hardly plays anymore onto a brand new console? It would be highly unlikely that UFG would consider getting MNR onto PSVita let alone have they announced they would. Plus, UFG have already got MNR onto a portable console; the PSP.

Sony should really play up the compatibility with the PS3 in their marketing - especially considering how with a PS3 and a Vita you will be able to functionally replicate the experience of Nintendo's Wii U without going through the hassle of replacing the box under your TV.

"Anything U can do, I can do better" would be a good slogan for the PS brand. :)

I have pre-ordered a 3G model and 16GB card from Amazon over Christmas and got two gift codes today 1 for a free 8GB card and the other for a game reduced to £15 the only problem is that Uncharted: Golden Abyss is not one of the games I can use the code on. But the free 8GB card is well worth it.

Well it all depends on your taste but there are several games in the list of free games that you can choose for the bundle that are good. I would say you can't go wrong with Rayman Origins, Virtua Tennis or Lumines. Besides you could always just get one of those games and then sell it probably for a profit.
