I've burnt a Blu-Ray disk (Verbatim 25GB BD-R LTH Type Recordable) that will not play on my Playstation3
I've used the format BD25 when burning and the contents are THX, Dolby and DTS trailers that I would like to play at best possible picture and sound.
Do you know why this disk will not play?
Thank you. The suggested Leawo Blu-Ray creator did make a playable Blu-Ray, however it did not include the lossless audio formats found on the trailers (Dolby TrueHD, Atmos and DTS HDMA). It was only able to play Dolby Surround...
Do you happen to know how this can be fixed using Leawo?
Does your games and all of your other Blu-ray disks play fine?
Yes, they do. I've also tried burned DVDs without problems. Now Vynzen above linked to a tutorial that suggested another burning software called Leawo. This worked, but without the lossless audio tracks included in the MKV files. Hence my struggle continues as this is important for the finished Blu-Ray...
What you said made me think of a codec compatibility problem and I made a few investigations. Look at what I found in this page.
See if that helps
This is absolutely an important step. It has been done on my side however and all Blu Rays with Lossless audio plays as such.
I suspect however that the problem might be the burning process itself where there might be an issue converting the audio to Blu-Ray compatible files
