Welcome to the forum, you're going to need to provide more detail for anyone to be able to assist you.
Me disc eject'd an wont install just keeps making an install noise
Ah, there are a few ways to fix this:
1) Shut the PS4 down, then remove the power cord from the back, keep pressing the power button (every few seconds) till it stops beeping and trying to turn on, then reinsert the power chord and turn the PS4 back on.
If that fails to fix it:
2) Turn the PS4 off, turn it on its side and disconnect the power chord, again keep pressing the power button till it stops trying to turn on then reinsert the power chord and turn back on, then shut it down again and return it to its normal position if usually horizontal.
If that also fails:
3) Turn off the PS4, then hold the power button down for 7 seconds, you should boot into a menu, select "rebuild Database" and let it finish, that should do it.
If all those fail, you may have to give Sony a call.
I can find no post in this thread detailing your issue, is it the same as the original poster's?
If so, and none of the given steps have worked I'd recommend calling Sony.@DarthSurma
Glad to be of assistance.
I just recently bought Prey on disc and I put it in to install and it installed up to the end of the download and now it just shows the game with a pause symbol on it. And when I click on it it does nothing. Help!?
I also updated the system software before I tried installing the game
As I replied in the other thread you created on the same - Wait for it to finish installing fully? It most likely has now I would imagine.@Goose00eggs
Im having the same issue. But i cantt let it fully install as it gets to 5.686 of 8.914 (for this particular game) and then crashes to ps home screen with the same pause symbol under the app@Oran_Gina
I have the same thing right now with Life is Strange: Before the Storm. It installed up to 99% and it won't move to 100%. In the Playstation home menu the game just stands there with the loading bar full but a pause logo in the middle. What can I do? I updated the system software before installing this game.@Goose00eggs
It seems to be fixed for me, here is what I did:
I deleted the game by going to settings > Storage > Life is Strange: Before the Storm and I deleted it. I had 70 - 80 GB Space. I went on deleting other games I don't play anymore, one of 20 GB adn another of 40 GB. I restarted my Playstation, saw two updates pop up of COD and GTAV and turned those down and tried to re-install the game that didn't wanted to finish installing and it worked, I can start it up now and play it.
So it might be that you need just a couple more GBs even though the game will never use those. A restart before you try again is a valid option. Goodluck everyone
Omfg I'm having the exact same problem right now! I got the game yesterday, I'm going to try your solution though, I don't understand, it seems i have enough room but idk ugh. :\@CelineW
Did you find a solution? Mine is crashing at 6.800 and it just sends me back to the home page
Did you get that fixed? I’m having same problem but with far cry 5.@Goose00eggs
The problem is that it isn't installing I've literally had it on rest where it downloads slightly faster and on regularly it pauses there is no going into it's just non existent at that point for hours and there is no notification and if this had something to do with space it would say it in a notification message which also doesn't happen at this point I'd say well I'll just get it on Xbox but I'm willing to give it a shot if there is any kind of real solution@Oran_Gina
I just gotten dishonored 2 and when i put in the disc the game stops the download and says error
