Just wondering if anyone can help me with the original first GOD OF WAR game for the PS2.
I'll be very grateful for any help on this matter.
After many hours of LOADING problems on this great game, I have finally managed to complete the game on NORMAL difficutly setting.
The game has been freezing up in the same spots every time I have played it.
It's after I have defeated two waves of centaurs, and since I've seen the game being played on Youtube, it happens before I encounter the huge Minotaur.
As soon as I have defeated the TWO waves of centaurs, and just as I am about to go through a stone door....it freezes and says LOADING.... and I am waiting ages, and ages for it to load, but nothing happens!!!!
The game disc has been checked carefully for scratches and to me it looks in really good condition! Hmm.......
Like I said, I'm playing it on a PS2.
I've been on the SYSTEM CONFIGURATION screen, and here is the version information about the actual system I have: ( the Bold type is what I have set my system on)
PS2 console: SCPH - 50003 Diagnosis OFF/ ON
Playstation Driver 1.11
Disc Speed STANDARD/ FAST
Texture Mapping STANDARD/ FAST
If anyone needs any more info about my problem, then please let me know.
Thanks again for your generous help.
I can't carry on with this great game until I find out how to get past this Loading problem. Meh!
PS: The only way of getting around the Freezing problem occasionally is by placing the PS2 in an upright position, but this doesn't work EVERY time!!
My sincere apologies for the slow reply.
Very much appreciated!
Awesome advice, and I've just now performed the procedure that you have given me, and I will let you know how the game progresses.
PS: Just wondered if you could possibly take a look at my plea of help on GHOST OF SPARTA for the PSP post below...
Many thanks if you can help on this too!
