This was inspired by all the people waking up with a couple of "symptoms" and thinking they have swine flu....
I once thought i had TB.. hd a bit of a cough, and actually went to the hospital a&e.. The doctor in the a&e asked me what was wrong and i said "i have tb" he just looked at me like this ":|" then he told me that he could tell by looking at me that i did not have TB. Turns out he was right.. lol...
Another time i thought i was looking a bit yellow, this was going on for a while, looked in my eyes a few days later and seen they were yellow so went to doctors, doctor asked me what the problem was, and i said "im jaundice" he looked at me like this ":|" and said, "no youre not"...

I think I've just about convinced myself that I have had every serious illness going.
google is terrible, if you google a boil, you will convince yourself you have an mrsa (super bug) boil thats gonna eat your body away. Nearly everything on google is worst case scenario stuff.
Thought i might of had a cancerous lump.
It was a hard spot caused by an ingrowing hair. :D

This is what you get when you shave between your legs. ;)

I don't shave
I grew out of asthma..
Also, its one thing thinking you have something wrong, and another your mum telling you, that its a serious illness lol
I'll never forget the time when I was about 11, and had a strange rash on my stomach. I aksed my mum what it was and she joked that it was meningitis :|
She was even laughing about it, whilst I was there in tears. When she saw my reaction to what she said, she tried to reassure me that she was only being silly and that I was fine, but I spent the whole day panicking. I may have only been 11 but I knew full well what meningitis was.
Cheers Mum.
I was once turned into a newt!!
I got better.
i thought i was having mini heart attacks and was going to die.
i made a topic about it lol :| and then it turned out i had tonsillitis... which i dont see how that works out. but i took the doctors word for it and im now better :D
I agree with you techwondo. When you have asthma you don't need to convince yourself at all.

Ive never convinced myself.... my asthma does a good enough job on its own.
I thought I had scabies after an outbreak in school when I was in yr 7.
All I knew was it was a rash, but mine was on my stomach, turned out I had shingles.
Scarred for life now :(

I had a strange rash on my stomach a few months ago, it was all green and scaly and weird.... I went to the doctors and even they didn't know what it was, but now it's magically dissapeared. No idea what it was. :)
Fortunately I convince myself a lot I've got serious illnesses when really it's nothing, and it's such a relief when I find out. I hate it when the opposite happens - when I was about 7 I went to the doctors to be told nothing was wrong with me, then a few days later found out I had pneumonia... I hated that doctor. :(
