What are your thoughts on the new DLC?

I think it's a great twist on an already completed masterpiece. For me, Red Dead Redemption is one of the best games I've ever played, provoking strong characters and plots. When I saw the Marshal and West Dickens again, it brought back some good memories of the beginning of summer, and the fact that it's undead zombies in awesome and absurd at the same time, which is a good tongue in cheek angle.

I'm a particular fan of the narrator, who talks in that ghoulish voice similar to the bloke on Thriller. I wish I had that voice, I'd use it for the ladies.

Only played it for about an hour, but I reckon it's going to be the best piece of DLC I've ever bought.

The game world of RDR is awesome anyway, but now with the added twist and the famous Rockstar humour I know I'm going to love it!

@moodylicious Whistle dude lol.

It is really a great piece of DLC and probably the best £7.99 i've spent on DLC! Would still recommend it to anyone who hasn't got it yet and want to buy DLC from the store.

Is £15.99 worth it for the extra DLC?

IMO, Only Undead Nightmare is worth getting. But if you play the online quite alot go for the othe DLC's too.

Undead Nightmare is the only DLC which has a separate story. And IMO, It is really really good. worth it totally.

I got bored of it really quick, it is OK but I found it was a bit of a chore to work through. However it screamed atmosphere and the hairs on the back of my neck were always stood on end.

If you get it on disk you get all the paid for DLC not just undead nightmares.

Arghhhhh... I'm really torn between whether I should get the Undead Nightmare collection or standalone pack. Some people say the extra DLC is not worth the price and that Legends and Killers is a massive rip-off with new maps which nobody plays. I have recently been trying to get into online mode and I like the idea of playing poker and liars dice online. I really can't make up my mind about whether it's worth it or if I will just get bored in a few days.

I noticed Play.com are selling Undead Nightmare disc for £15.99 which is the same price as the Playstation Store. I was thinking it may be better to get the disc rather than having DLC tied to my PSN account which has no resale value.

Any thoughts???

It has no re-sale value but how much could you get for the disc version for £15 in the months to come?

I just got the standalone UN DLC for £7.99 I'm not bothered about price especially how I'm having so much fun regardless :D

I've not seen it under £15, even on ebay. I reckon it would sell for £10 in the future but anything is better than nothing.

Gratz on your purchase. I ordered the disc myself, may see you online sometime. :smileyhappy:

just finished undead nightmares - best DLC ive paid for, really impressed with it, even though its completely off the wall, its stayed true to its roots from red dead and even continued with character development, ending was awesome too :)
