Cities: Skylines puts you in charge of a growing city – from the ground-breaking of its first streets to the ever-changing needs of thousands of citizens. Design, build, and manage the city of your dreams, from public services to civic policies, and challenge yourself to grow from a simple town to a bustling metropolitan hub.
Loving Skylines. I mean, half the city's on fire. The people have succumbed to pestilence. And, with no where to bury them, the bodies are piling on the streets. But still - loving it.
Still need to give this a go. I tried it, but I thought I would be alright figuring out what to do on my own without reading how to do anything. Nope... So gave up for a bit
You don't need to read anything other than the in-game tips.
The hard part is juggling your budget and not letting negative impacts spiral out of control.
This is such a meditative game. My new city is working out great. Eco-friendly too.
The best advice is to be patient. Grow it slow. Let it play at its normal speed. You can organise it in real time with having to pause.
Overtime I build a city, at some point in the game the hospitals and clinics would just stop working and won't start back causing all my civilians to die,(not "all", but alot). And I can't seem to fix it. They have 0 patients and no ambulance in use. I
havetried replacing them, but still no luck. So across the street from a hospital is a dead person waiting for transport. Still nothing. Can anyone help me please!?, This bug stop me from enjoying the game!;?
I can't find a straight answer about this on Google.
Some people suggest you only need one hospital for a city with some clinics spread out. That when you are placing a hospital the green area around it isn't its coverage area, it's the area of land which will have its land value raised. They say that too many hospitals cause them to become "lazy", because they think the others will do it.
Maybe try that, and create a save so you can go back if it doesn't work.@tlawson1234
Do you get governments in game? You’ve probably got a Tory one.@tlawson1234
Make sure all your roads are connected properly
obviously make sure they have electricity and water.
check your budget for the hospital because if it’s too low they won’t work like they should.
with the roads thing as well make sure that the route is highlighted green, and that the ambulances don’t have to go around the entire highway just to get to where they need to be@tlawson1234
Dunno then. There's no proper answer on Reddit, Steam, or the official forum for Skylines.@tlawson1234
Cities: Skylines - Green Cities adds new ways for players to build earth-friendly towns. The expansion adds 350 new assets to the core game, adding a massive selection of new visual options, complete with eco-friendly buildings, organic shops, electric vehicles, and new services designed to make pollution a quaint notion of the past.
