I don’t know if SP was going to open up a thread about this in the near future but I am gonna go ahead and do it until they make one. So, like the title says, this is a check out my level thread.
So people can know about your level, post w/the following info:
I’ll start it out
Feel free to contribute whenever you like and give feedback to others who post!
Thanks all! :)
Anyone know what day it is? Seems I've been engrossed on this game for weeks. :)
I've enjoyed playing the mission created by the forum members so much, I thought it was about time I posted some of my missions. With much fiddling and tinkering, I managed to crank out a few this week. These are my first attempts but the gameplay should be solid. It takes a lot of effort to try to make missions unbreakable.
Bad to Worse - Part 1
My first is a story based mission. Cole doing the hero thing. It's moderately challenging. I learned a lot from this.
A quick ride in the back of a truck. Short, simple and fun.
Scrapyard in the Sky
Platforming on moving cars.
I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I enjoyed making them. As usual, feedback is appreciated.
I figured I would make the next mission before the 4th so I can relax. Anyway, there are some things I would like to note.
1) This mission involves only 1 real battle, Cole is invulnerable during this one so you can easily defeat the Militia group, otherwise I would have to minimize the amount of enemies and throw in a checkpoint when the story did not require it. Zeke is also invulnerable.
2) You CAN NOT defeat the ravager in the mission. Allow it to kill you to progress the story. (This is to save you from being in ***** mode.)
3) This mission will clear up most of Bertrand's intentions and set the end goal for the series.
4) There is a way to make civilians fall from the sky without using objects. Add something for the person to stand on, place the person on that object, then remove the object. It will suspend them in mid-air but they will fall down during the mission.
All notes aside from #4 is to clear up any questions or complaints about those topics. Have fun, enjoy the holiday if you live in the USA, and I'll make another one and have it ready by next friday.
Mission Name: The Subway Adventure [Episode I]
Mission Tags: Narrative (Primary) / Battle (Secondary)
Mission Location: Western edge of the first island near the port where you start the game (after the introductory sequence in the swamp), right in front of the Subway store.
Basic Summary: Cole's been dying to have some lunch, but since he's a superhero and whatnot, things get inbetween him and his meal as usual. What he discovers is a strange yet menacing plot by a mysterious man known only as "The Boss."
Issues and Problems: Couldn't get checkpoints working properly, so if you die near the end you'll have to replay all of it. :/ Sorry about it, gonna practice a bit to get them working better. Other than that I don't believe there are many issues, maybe other than random civilians cutting into things, so I might turn them off next time.

Me and my cousin put quite a bit of work into this as it was our first major mission and we learned most of the UGC stuff through this. The dialouge is pretty humorous (or so we hope) and we hope you all get a good laugh out of it! Please rate it high if you did enjoy it, we want to know whether people want us to continue it or not.
My mission is called The First Sons: Kesslers story. Basically you are playing as Kessler,(before he took over the First sons) in an attempt to steal First Sons intel. This series will be a 3 part series, working on part 2 now. Let me know if you would like to see this continue or not.
Mission name - The Arena
Mission tags - kill 'em all, defend
Mission location - second island on building next to the helipad
Basic summary - your trapped in an arena and have to survive 5 waves of militia attackers
looking for a good aesthetic ring race/battle mission? Here ya go! Watch as explosions go off as you race to add to your enjoyment of the mission!
Hello, everyone. I'm JumpButton, and I picked up inFamous 2 yesterday after coming into some money, mostly because of the UGC content. Of course, I enjoyed inFamous, and inFamous 2 is no different, but for me, a good level editor is an instant buy move on a developer's part.
So, after spending a few hours on the game and unlocking the very basics in the UGC editor, I started fooling around and these are what I came up with today.
Mission Name: Ray Field Magnetics
The "Yes We Can Can" Building in the flashy area on the first half of the first island.
Basically what happened here was I opened the platformer template and well, spent four hours just... running with it. I extended it and added several mini-objectives to an otherwise standard platforming level. I added all sorts of long jumps and glides, added a narrative, a time-trial side quest, timers, counters, and scripted events until I had something that I feel is a pretty decent first mission.
Now for the actual summary, someone has made a device called a Ray Field Enhancer, which is holding objects in the sky, similar to how the Beast can bring people into the sky and amplify flight abilities. It's holding objects in the sky, but for some odd reason it's bogging down Cole's powers, preventing him from using anything but blasts and thrusters. With Zeke's help (through phone only, unfortunately, I wasn't sure how to load new stuff to the selection menu yet) he climbs up and finds out that these devices are rigged to explode and the area down. There is platforming, running, gliding, climbing and a general sense of urgency.
I hope you enjoy it.
Problems: Sometimes the NPCs can hit cars with their rocks, and this causes the cars to fall out of the air, which creates a fail condition because they're needed to get from place to place and fall on a timer as part of the mission's urgency. Admittedly, in hindsight, I think I could have set cars to ignore NPCs, but eh, lesson learned.
Now, here's my other mission, a much more ambitious level... but not without it's problems, definitely:
Mission Name: COLLECTATHON 3000
Narrative, Escort (I don't know if these are really 'accurate')
The same building as before, but in the courtyard/park in front of it.
Wanting to do a second mission before I went back to the main game, I started fooling around with an empty mission rather than a template.
I've always been a massive fan of platforming games like Jak and Daxter where you get a level, and 4-8 objectives, but then the game just lets you do them in any order you want, even do them simultaneously. Looking at that idea, I decided I would do this inside of inFamous, doing 5 medium sized objectives in one mission instead of 1 larger one. Thus, I put five red Xs around a monument in a circular area, each one having a volume that sets off the stuff for that objective. There are five objectives - Defeat 10 marked enemies around the map (this one shows up first before hitting an X, I prefer to do it first, it's the easiest), Climb the Yes We Can Can building and glide to the top of the monument, Travel through all the Rings around New Marais, Defeat three Boss Militia (Regular militia with high HP and damage attributes), and an escort mission where you help Zeke invade a small Militia outpost on the shore.
The story goes that Cole and Zeke need to find a secret militia briefcase, but need five gold stars to use to SOMEHOW triangulate the briefcase's position. It's bull***** and I know it :V
But anyways, once you do all five objectives and get the five stars, the briefcase's location is revealed and you go to get it fighting one last militia force once you arrive before you're granted the briefcase. The mission lasts about 20-30 minutes, which brings us to the problems.
Despite the fact that I am now pretty confident in checkpoint setups, my logic blocks, like anything else I do, are sloppy. :V Because of this, and the sheer size of my objectives, leaving me no space on the meter... tthere are no checkpoints. Luckily, most of the stuff in my mission can't kill you, but dear Lord is it disheartening if you are in the Zeke objective and get knocked off the scaffolds into the water and die.
Despite this, I still feel the mission and the objectives are fun enough to hold their own, as long as you don't suck at inFamous and can get through it with less frustration.
Got 2 more missions for you guys!
Calamity! Part 1. Fun Narrative that doesnt take very long to complete! I have 3 checkpoints added in so you dont have to go back to the very beginning!
A fun battle/narrative mission. Start off inside of an AC-130 using only your rockets as missiles. Then, thunder drop to the bottom to take out the ground troops! Checkpoints and Switches are used in this mission.
More to come! Btw,
Thanks SPP for featuring 2 of my missions!!!
1. Infamous Trivia 4.5 stars! http://infamousthegame.com/en_US/infamous2/community/ugc/mission.html?missionId=0ec6e9b1-2afa-4e83-a...
2. Retelling the Beginning of Cole Part 3, three stars! http://infamousthegame.com/en_US/infamous2/community/ugc/mission.html?missionId=2cf9dad4-adee-4a0f-b...
Hey guys, check out my first mission.
Mission Name: Icy Situation (Part 1)
Mission Tags: Battle/Search and Rescue
Mission Location: Located on the small bridge outside of the cemetary.
Mission Summary: Three civilians have been kidnapped by the ice soldiers. Rescueing them won't be easy. They are heavily guarded and will be executed if the ice soldiers feels threatened. Are these hostages somehow important?
Problems: If there are any bugs or problem, please message me. I'll try to fix it. That goes for Grammar and Spelling aswell. I'm pretty hard on my self when it come that. I triple checked most of it, but didn't find one until after I published it.
"A faithful recreation of the pop-up mole arcade game."
Just like the arcade counterpart - 'moles' pop up; whack 'em! A mixture of randomly generated and sequenced moles and a score attack challenge built in to the mission which (hopefully) gives it replay value.
I thought this one was going to be simple to make, but a week after starting it I was still plugging away. I haven't done an exact count, but I ended up using hundreds of logic boxes. Pain in the a*** to make, this one, but hopefully the time and effort was worth it. Click the title above for its mission page on the UGC website.
This mission is difficult and requires smart tactics to accomplish.
Revisit the Matrix in a battle against Smiths; find a hidden Phone Booth and remain in its vicinity for the Log out to count down and complete the escape. Good Luck!! *
Area has restraints to keep cole/Neo grounded and in the battle.
Well this is basically my first published mission that basically lets you recruit conduits that will fight with you to destroy the boss.
infamous trivia 2 is up! here is the link! if you didnt know, infamous trivia 1 was featured.
HOW MUCH INFAMOUS DO YOU KNOW?
Hey guys, my first couple missions!
1. Fires of Fort Phillipe
2. Battle, Platforming
3. On top of one of the buildings dutside Fort Phillipe
4. I turned Fort Phillipe into a Militia missile base. In the middle is a huge silo that towers over the fort. Climb to the top to deactivate the misslie warhead as rockets and machinegun fire pummel the sides of the tower. When that's accomplished, the entire silo explodes, sending Cole flying in the air amidts some spectacular destrucion.
So far it's only got 8 plays but a solid 4.5 star rating.
1. Silent (K)night
2. Stealth, Battle
3. Atop another building outside Fort Phillipe
4. The Militia's taken some rebels hostage and will kill them if there's a rescue attempt. Cole must infiltrate the facility, perform stealth kills and slip past guards to free the prisoners before resulting in an epic fight as the grand finale. The mission's got some pretty solid stealth mechanics built around inFamous' gameplay and resembles Splinter Cell or Batman: Arkham Asylum.
1.. i've got the amp... who's got the guitar
this is a kill 'em all
2.. a fistful of lightnig
this is a battle / kill 'em all
3.. bowling with gas

Name: Army of One
Tags: Kill'em all, Battle
I hope you like it :smileyhappy:
I've messed around with making missions, but this is my first real attempt.
Check it out! I'd love to hear what people think.
My first 3 missions. The Cole's Oddyssey Missions are my first. The Conspiracy is my third. (Narrative wise. I also have a Gang War type but these are the three I am most proud of.. DO NOT PLAY Cole's Decision. It is just a really outdated version of Cole's Oddyssey : Chapter 1 : The Beginning, that didn't get deleted for some reason. The Three I have here are the Real Ones :)
The Conspiracy : Chapter 1 : Dawn
Cole is set on a journey to uncover the truth behind the workings of the Militia Industries. What starts out as a seemingly normal 'Go get the truth" type mission, Completely spirals outward into an entirely different, unparrallelled, and perplexing expedition which can only be known as The Conspiracy.
Cole's Oddyssey : Chapter 1 : The Beginning
An average day in the life of Cole McGrath quickly turns into an odd shift from "King Of The World" down to "The Guy Who Just Got His Butt Whooped". In this mission you will follow Cole as he tries to sort things out and tries to Save New Marais from the new threat only known as, Teflon. Or who knows. You could possibly even Overthrow the new threat and decide to make New Marais your own. The overall choice you make in this mission will completely decide your playthrough for Chapter 2. Choose Wisely, Cole.
Cole's Odyssey : Chapter 2 : Betrayal
The follow-up to the Mission that started it all. In this mission you will be watching Cole in his life as he tries to deal with the wrong's that he's done. How will he make up for it? Or how will he try and do what he already does well? This mission features Two completely contrasting chronicles inn one mission that are directly connected to your Ultimate Choice in Chapter 1.
